Ariga Castle

(Overview)
Ariga Castle has a main guo cut at the tip of the ridge. The remains are being developed for the ridges that extend north and northeast from there, and for the continuation of the southern ridges.
Kuruwa 1, which corresponds to the main guo, is kuruwa with a scale of about 20m east-west and about 37m north-south, which is almost rectangular. High earthworks are provided on the west / south side and part of the east and west. which is almost rectangular. In particular, the earthworks on the south side are thought to have been made by leaving the ground uncut when constructing the main guo. It has a height of 4 to 5 m from the inside of the Kuruwa, and care is taken not to see through the inside of the main guo from the direction of the southern ridge.Inside this earthwork, there are two thin steps on the left and right, which are solidified with stone walls.A monument to Akiha Gongen stands on this earthwork. These steps may also have been provided due to the need for the ritual. Therefore, it is difficult to immediately conclude that the stone wall is the remains of the castle.
