Introduction

　My wife has a request for Ishigaki Island Marathon.I've been hoping for this marathon since last year, but it wasn't realized because it was far away.We have already accepted from October 1st, and as of October 29th, we were still able to accept.The distance is full, 24km, 10km and will be held on January 27th.Next, I'm worried about the cost, so I looked it up and found that it was relatively cheap.Apply for ANA Sales ASW Tour Tabisaku, which seems to be the cheapest, on October 27th.At the same time, apply for participation in the 17th Ishigakijima Marathon.Since it also serves as sightseeing on Ishigaki Island, the schedule will be 3 nights and 4 days.In this process, including the rental car, it was 91,200 yen for two people.Moreover, it was 81,900 yen when the discount coupon of 10,000 yen was applied.I'm worried about my legs, so 24km, my wife applies for full marathon.The entry cost was also cheap, and the total cost was 9,000 yen, which was 4,000 yen and 5,000 yen, respectively.I hope the weather is good during the period.

　Since the bus service is fast, I decided to go by private car and park for 4 days (1,200 yen) in the parking lot of the bus stop.There is no traffic jam on the road to Haneda Airport, and we arrive at the scheduled time.It takes three and a half hours to reach Ishigaki Airport, which is about the same as going to Taipei, Taiwan.Arrived at Ishigaki Airport on time, and immediately headed for the bus stop for the airport's sports park.There is a considerable amount of time until the departure at 15:30.When I was waiting for the bus, I was asked if I would like to ride a taxi, and four people boarded the marathon reception hall.It was dropped off right next to the reception hall at almost the same price as the bus.After the reception, take a taxi to the 730 intersection near the hotel with the same member.I was able to complete the reception very easily and efficiently.After tomorrow's marathon, I plan to go to Taketomi Island if I have time, and check the time of the ferry at Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal .The last boat of the buffalo car sightseeing set ticket will be at 15:30, and Marathon participants will be explained as 10% off.From there, we walk along Ishigaki Port to Apa Hotel , where we will stay for three days.Arrived at APA Hotel at 16:10, took a break for a while after check in, and went out for dinner.Search for about 3 izakaya and finish dinner easily at a suitable store.We returned to the hotel around 20:00 and went shopping at a nearby convenience store.

　Carpooling a taxi booked by a marathon participant in front of the APA Hotel.We arrive at Ishigaki City Central Athletic Park at 8 o'clock.It's cloudy today and the wind is weak but chilly.It's a good condition for Marathon.Full marathon and 24km start at 9 o'clock at the same time, proceed clockwise and divide into another course around 16km.Full Marathon, 24km, turn right at 730 intersection and proceed along the coast from the city hall to Ishigaki Yaima Village through the Kannonzaki Lighthouse.There are miscellaneous trees between the sea and the sea, so i can hardly see the sea.Stop by Nagura big bridge and take a picture.Turn right at the Motonagura near 16km and leave the coast.The full marathon and 24km course branch off in front of the Ishigakijima Sugar Factory.Full Marathon turns left toward Painushima Ishigaki Airport.From the airport, return to the athletics park athletics stadium through Shiraho and Miyara Bridge.The 24km goes straight through between Bannadake and Maesedake, and returns to the athletics stadium in the athletic park.The runners of both courses suffer from steep slopes after branching.Both of them managed to finish the race, but the time was not satisfactory.Still, my wife receives the second place award by age group .
　I think I have time to go to Taketomi Island, so I hurry back to Apa Hotel by taxi.Take a shower, change clothes, and walk to Ishigaki Port remote island terminal with a painful leg.Arrive at the terminal after 15:00 and purchase the buffalo car sightseeing set ticket departing at 15:30. Taketomi Island is a small flat island with an outer circumference of about 9km, but the original scenery of Okinawa remains after thorough environmental conservation.It will arrive at Taketomi East Port in 15 minutes.Take the Nitta sightseeing shuttle car for buffalo car sightseeing. Buy a ticket for the buffalo car tour at the buffalo car departure and arrival area .
　There are various ways to enjoy Taketomi Island, such as walking, cycling, watching the starry sky, and spending leisurely time. We don't have time, so we do the classic buffalo car tour .Skillfully operate the buffalo car in a narrow alley and guide us to the highlights in about 30 minutes.Occasionally, in the Yaeyama dialect, which is difficult to hear, talk about the island with humor while advancing the buffalo car.While playing the sanshin, it ends with the song "Ariya Yunta".About 30 minutes from "Kusukumuri", "Nishitouon", "Nagomi no Tower" to the view of the village , stroll around the nearby private houses, and take the shuttle car at 17:00 Go to the ferry landing.Leave Taketomi Island at the ferry at 17:15.There was a Youkou Gushiken statue at the Ishigaki Port ferry landing.From there, take a walk along the Yuguｒenaｍouru Street for dinner.

　Unlike yesterday, today is a drive day with a wide blue sky.It will be a very warm weather like a southern island.Since we rent a car from 9:00 to 20:00, we can slowly go around Ishigaki Island with a Surroundings of about 139km.Ishigaki Island is the third largest island after the main island of Okinawa and Iriomote Island.We have the rental car company pick us up at the hotel before 9am.It takes time to decide the destination when it is time to leave.I will exclude the place I went to in Marathon yesterday and first go to the Banna Observatory near the Nippon car rental Ishigaki Sales Office.The view of the sea and the activity are the main tourist attractions, so this observatory seems to be a minor spot.It is displayed as Observation deck on the southern island , and is made of concrete with spiral stairs inside. 360 degree view from the observatory .I can see the observatory further up, so I decided to go there.It is named migratory bird observation place and has the shape of a bird.Looking at the tourist information later, it seems that Banna Park has 10 observatories for by purposes.
　Next, go to Ishigaki Yaimamura on the Marathon course.It is composed of facilities such as an old red-tile house, a squirrel monkey garden, a mangrove "Nagura Anpal", and Ampal Tower .In the middle of Okinawa folk song show by Sanshin in Ryukyu costume.Listen to the song for a while and go around the park.
　Next, head to Ishigaki Island's most popular spot, Kabira Bay.To take a break on the way, drive in the direction of Okanzaki and stop at Takeda Coffee in a place that is difficult to understand.This coffee shop grows coffee in the surrounding fields to make coffee beans.According to the story, the person who made it before couldn't do it because of long-term care, so he took over as the second generation.A young couple immigrated from Fukui and Kanagawa.We were guided around and showed us coffee trees and lots of colorful flowers.I heard that the Oganzaki Lighthouse is a sightseeing spot, so I decided to go around the peninsula.I noticed that I had passed the destination, but I just passed by.
　In front of the next destination, Kabira Bay, I changed my mind while waiting because it was under construction, and went to another route, the Nantouyaki workshop.Unfortunately the store was closed.From there, do not go to Kabira Bay, but steer to Hirakubozaki.There was a observation parking lot overlooking Kabira Bay on the way.The whole view of Kabira Bay was overlooked, and we could fully enjoy the view of Ishigaki Island Best.For lunch, eat Yaeyama Soba and Souki Soba at "Ka to Soba" overlooking the East China Sea.
　Hirakubozaki is located in the northernmost part of the island, and the sea seen from Hirakubozaki Lighthouse is shining blue. The color difference from the coral reef is clearly visible near the coast. There was a horseback riding ground of Yonaguni horse in the back of the road further north from there.This area is a grassland area, and can see cows grazing here and there.
　On the way back, go south.We passed through the outbound route, but I have time, so headed toward Sunset Beach.When I was driving on a narrow farm road, I came out on a dirt road that went to "heart breathing", but I was a little worried and returned to prefectural road 206.If you continue running toward the airport from there, you will find a guide sign for the Tamatorizaki Observatory.Without hesitation, the car cuts the steering wheel in that direction.Tamatorizaki Observatory is located on a small mountain and overlooks Ibaruma Bay and Hirakubozaki . Hibiscus of different colors was in full bloom in the vicinity.
　I had promised to meet a couple I met in Nagano, so I go to Art Hotel Ishigakijima before 16:00.The couple moved to Ishigaki Island in search of a warm place.The couple will live on Ishigaki Island until the age of 105, when their mother died. Taking this opportunity, sold house and returned to Nagano. However, the couple couldn't stand the cold and returned to Ishigaki Island for permanent residence.Currently living in a rented house for about 50,000 yen.The couple encourages us to relocate.It seems that a pension is enough to make a living.With the lease contract here, the renter must repair the rented house, so be careful when making the contract.Also, if you don't choose a place with drainage to buy land, the underground is a coral reef, so it will be flooded during heavy rain.Furniture such as chests of drawers is not necessary because it will mold, lunch boxes are cheap and there are many items, baths only need showers, Hesitate because there are many colored fish, Root vegetables cannot take root because of coral reefs, etc.Knowledge about life on Ishigaki Island will be shown one after another.Ishigaki Island is a group of immigrants from other islands, and it is difficult to conclude their opinions.They tend to be organized in their hometown.Therefore, it took a long time to construct the airport, and the airport road under construction do not move forward easily.There are many remote islands, but the ferry fee is too high.Even Taketomi Island, which can be reached in just 10 minutes, costs 1,330 yen for a round trip.Told various stories one after another.
　Return the rental car at around 5:30 pm and have the company send it to the APA Hotel.I went shopping on "Yuguｒenaｍouru" central street and decided to go to "Iso" where my husband and wife told me about the restaurant On the way, the west sky was dyed red with sunset over Ishigaki Port.
