Travel time (airplane) = 9 hours
Narita Airport(19:00) ⇒ Bankover Airport(12:00)
Depart Narita at 19:00 for Air Canada 004 to Bangkok-Marrakech Tour for 8 days by air. After arriving at Bangkok International Airport at 12:00, the bus will be a half-day city tour. You will be guided to Queen Elizabeth Park, Gastown Stanley Park, Lions Gate Bridge, etc. by bus.In the city area, construction of the subway and other facilities has begun in preparation for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Bankuba. The first impression I saw on the Bankover was that the residential home was very cute. The air is very dry and the laundry seems to dry indoors in about half a day. During this time, the sunshine is long and it is perfect for playing. Go out and go jogging to the sun set beach. On my way home, I got lost and asked a Japanese exchange student.

This day is an option, and I will devote myself to a full-day sightseeing in Victoria. Head to Victoria at BC Ferry. On the way, discover something that seems to be Iruka.First of all, we will visit the Butchart Gardens, a tourist attraction that is the best in Victoria. There are sun gardens, rose gardens, Japanese gardens, Italian gardens, and Mediterranean gardens in about 22 hectares. The sun garden seen from the observation deck was wonderful. Next, we go to Bekon Hill Park, where the starting point of Mail Sero is located in Trans Kanada Highway. From there, you can see Mount Rainier (4,392m), which resembles the shape of Mt. Fuji, in the direction of the American Seattle. Return to the Ferry Landing Inner Harbor and look at the historic buildings such as the State Capitol and the Fairmont Empress Hotel. Seaplanes were arriving and departing at sea.Tonight, volunteers will gather and have a meal at a Chinese restaurant that understands Japanese.
May 2006 (Sat.)
Today, we will jog around the city of Bankover and the seafront, also as a test run of the Marathon Course to prepare for tomorrow. After that, go sightseeing in the mountains and the Capillan Valley. The highlight is the suspension bridge over the Capilano River, which is deeply cut on both sides. This suspension bridge has a length of 134m and a height of about 70m, and it sways when crossed. It was raining, so I was careful not to slip.Mt. Grassus is at an altitude of 1250m, and you can climb up to 1128m. Unfortunately visibility was not good. There was snow on the top station. I had some time, so I tried climbing the trail a little. On the way back to the hotel, we drop in at the London Deal Market. So I will procure tonight's meal.
May July 2006 (Sun.)
This is Marathon Day, the main event of this tournament. It seemed to rain in the morning, but it changed to light rain when the start time was near. Start B.C. Place Stadium at 7:30. The course is almost flat and runs in the Stanley Park from the midpoint of 20km to 25km. There are complicated bends and the sense of direction is lost. I was able to finish the race in a mediocre time. Fortunately I didn't have any rain during the running, but after the rain I got a lot of rain. Among the participants in this tournament, there was a winner by age. In the evening, a tour company sponsored a commemorative party for the participants, and had a good fight with each other.

Head to Calgary on Air Canada flight 210 departing at 11:25. From the sky, I could see the magnificent Kanadean Rocky covered with snow.Arriving at 14:20, we took a bus from there to Banff. In Banff, after checking in at Hotel Tamigan Inn, spend a short walk and wind shopping.Dinner was with the tour participants.

Today is the long-awaited Canadian rocky sightseeing day. The weather is perfect and the heart is bright. From the bunp, go through Bow Bare Parkway and Icefields Parkway to the Coronvia Icefield. After passing the Johnston Valley from the train window, I could see the strangely shaped Mt. Castle after a while. On the way, we took a short break at "Lake Release" and "Crossing", and we can see the steep rocky mountains with ice.
The Colombia Icefield, which has the largest ice field (325 km2) in the Rocky Mountains, was crowded with many people.Participate in a walk through the large ice field with a snowmobile that everyone participates in.In recent years, glaciers have shrunk, but the size is overwhelming. On the way back to Banff, stop at Lake Bow.Lake Bow was completely frozen, and there was a glacier-covered rocky mountain on the opposite bank. After arriving in Banff, cross the Bow River and head out to the famous Fairmont Banff Spring Hotel with volunteers. On the way, I was surprised to see some people swimming at a hotel pool this season.
