Camino Fisterra Pilgrimage diary
(Camino Fisterra : Santiago de Compostela ⇒ Fisterra)
- June 27, 2010~July 1, 2010 -
Introduction
Now that the pilgrimage to the destination Sanchago has been completed, the Finisterre pilgrimage may be like inertia. However, when I set out on a journey, I felt that it was more like a pilgrimage than when I was at Camino France. There were few pilgrims and no big church, but there was something touching.I was impressed when I first saw the Atlantic Ocean. For reference, the pilgrimage diary specifies the time, distance, Cumulative distance (from St Jean Pied de Port and Arles and their total) and price as far as we know. The photo is written in red in the document.

Santiago de Compostela(10:30 5h 45m) ⇒ Pontemaceira(16:15 1h ) ⇒ Negreira(17:15)
I decided to go to Fisterra for 3 days as planned.Depart Albergue at 8:30m.I see a strange Spanish cesar with whom I ate yesterday in front of a prestigious parador。I wait so that I don't meet, but since I don't move, I have no choice but to say hello.I meet a couple from Nagoya there.Parador serves breakfast to pilgrims, so the eight attendees are a treat. The bread was very delicious.Take a commemorative photo and break up with the Japanese couple there. The number of Spanish people will increase by one, and it will be a pilgrimage of four people. The departure of Santiago de Compostela is significantly delayed, at 10:30 m.This route is lined with mountain roads and feels more like a pilgrimage route. It's hot anyway. The pilgrimage signpost seems to indicate the remaining distance to Fisterra, and it was a halfway number such as 85.827 Km.At 16:15, you will pass the fine Pontemaceira (Stone bridge) over the Tambre River in Ponte maceira.Stop at the Bar near the remaining distance of 5km.Anyway, the beer is good.Depart there at 15:50.At 17:15, we arrive at the municipal Albergue San José (12€) in Negreira. The building was new and comfortable.I went to a nearby supermarket, procured ingredients, and started self catering (12 €) with 4 people from around 9 o'clock.Salad, macaroni and meat dishes were lined up, making it luxurious meal. The Spanish Sezarl played an active part here.June 29, 2010 (Tue.) Have breakfast and leave at 7:05.There is a part of Capela de San Mauro(church) on the national highway 5601, and i can go through it.Even today, I walk on a pilgrimage road with up down mountain roads and roads while fighting against the heat.Passing Iglesia San Mamede de la pena (church) in front of Portocamiño at 9:35 and Iglexa de San Martiño de Fontecada (church) in Fontecada at 12:20.There are overwhelmingly many corn fields in this area. There are only two bars up to Olveiroa, so I had lunch at a bar with a good time around 12:30 while drinking beer.Tell home that my return to Japan has been extended to July 14.At 15:00, take a second break today at the bar near 1.5km before the destination.I drink two beers with the potato fries of the service as a side dishes, but it's just good.Wait 30 minutes for her daughters, watch Football's match against Japan for a while, and start again. We will arrive at Albergue at 17:30.There are many pilgrims, and it becomes a floor mat room. From 20:00, we will have dinner with four of us, German Karl Heins and two women with him.June 30, 2010(Wed.) It was an early departure at 6:30 for the first time in a long time.Have breakfast at the bar along the national highway at 8 o'clock. Many windmills are impressive.Depart again at 8:40.After walking along the up down pilgrimage route for a while, the Atlantic Ocean suddenly opened in front of me around 11 o'clock.I was impressed and thought that the end of the pilgrimage was approaching.I attached a bell and a 5yen ball to a stone block like Cologne, and set up a cane that used about 50 km.At the bar in the beautiful town Cee , I took a break for about an hour with a beer and left there at 13:25.I wanted to enjoy walking with the remaining Distance of about 16km.It got hotter and hotter. My daughters take a break on the hill where I can see Fisterra for the first time, but I go down to the beach at once.My daughters don't come easily, so I start walking alone.Waiting for daughters while drinking beer at the bar in front of Fisterra. However, there is no sign of coming, so I start walking alone again.Pass by the big cross, pass Parroquia de Santa María (church), and proceed to Iglexa de Santa María das Areas (church) .
From nearby, the road is sandwiched between the mountains and the sea.At this point I didn't realize I had passed Fisterra. After climbing the slope for a while, there was a pilgrim's monument .If I go further, there is a signpost for pilgrimage route 0km. At that time, I learned that I had come to Cape Finisterre. Therefore, the town we passed earlier is Fisterra.Have a toast for only one person at the only one bar.The price was 2.6 €, which was the same as the full amount of the coin purse. Also, I was surprised that a Korean woman who was studying abroad in France called out to me.Is this the last accidental mischief of Kamino? I had some time, so I took a walk in the small mountains of Cape Fisterra. From there, you can see the lighthouse direction and Fisterra city. It's a good time, so I'll return to Fisterra.Reunited with an elderly woman in Peru in front of the town.It was 19:30 when I got down to the town. When I asked if I had a daughter at the first albergue, I got a call from the receptionist's cell phone at the perfect time.Joining with my daughters, a strange Spanish Mr.Sezarl make a dish the paella tonight, so we buy the ingredients at a nearby supermarket.Reunited with an Australian couple, German Mr.Karl Heins, while shopping.Mysterious things continue. We found an albergue that We could cook for myself, and then cooked, so it was a late dinner after 21:00.In the same room, there was a Japanese Miss Mika from Kashiwa and a Korean.I started walking from Port, and it was a pilgrimage using the fire station and Albergue (free of charge). It seems that the return route will be via India. There were also many pilgrims with dogs, musical instruments, and other unique pilgrims.July 1, 2010(Thur.)
