Shimosuwa Takagi weeping cherry blossoms➠ Map


　It is said that Tadatsune, a child of the feudal lord Suwa Yorimizu, went to the Siege of Osaka in 1615(Genna 1) and divided the saplings he brought back as a memorial to the clan.
　It is thought to be of the same type and age as the weeping cherry tree in front of the Hannoukourei of the onsenji temple.（Diverted from the information board）
　There is a viewing platform just above, and the view of Lake Suwa is wonderful.
