Miharu TakizakuraMap

Takizakura, which is one of the three major cherry blossoms in Japan, is the first cherry tree to be designated as a national natural monument on October 12, 1918.It is known that the Sugito painting "Sakura" (painter Meiji Hashimoto) between the main pine trees of the Imperial Palace was drawn with Takizakura as a model. In addition, Akasaka Sacas Akasaka Biz Tower mural "Four Seasons Trees" (painter Hiroshi Senju) is also a model.
During the flowering period, countless small pink flowers come out from the branches that grow in all directions. It is said that it has come to be called "Takizakura" because it looks like a falling waterfall.(Diverted from Miharu Tourism Association website)
It's out of season, so imagine Takizakura just by looking at the trees.
