Manryuuji TempleMap


 It is said that Manryuuji Temple was opened in 1617 by a "Tansyou Syounin", and moved to the present location 10 years later.The cherry blossoms in the Juuoudou are thought to have been planted around the time of the relocation of the temple, and the cherry blossoms in front of the main hall are estimated to be 50 years later.Both old trees are over 300 years old.Both trees are located in a group of weeping cherry trees (including the cherry blossoms of Konpirasan) planted around Manryuuji Temple, and are valuable cultural assets that enhance the beauty of the scenery around Manryuji Temple and tell the history.
